“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”
Matthew 25:35
The Food Ministry at Hillsdale Church contributes to our mission to love all people into a relationship with Christ by feeding families in need in Forsyth and Davie counties. We follow Jesus’s calling to help people in need by providing food through the following programs:
Heavenly Bags (Davie County)
A bag of food items is sent home with food insecure students in Davie County every week during the school year.
Bethesda Center for the Homeless (Winston-Salem)
Hot chicken noodle soup is prepared and delivered each Thursday and Sunday evening to help feed our neighbors who are struggling with homelessness.
A Storehouse for Jesus (Mocksville)
Hot chicken noodle soup is delivered each Tuesday at noon to support locals who may be food insecure.
This program is run strictly by volunteers and requires a large number of individuals to facilitate its success.
